Our textile line is produced with recycled cotton fibers.
The yarns we use to weave RECOS FABRIC® are made with post-industrial recycled cotton fibers. These yarns reduce the CO² footprint four times compared to conventional yarn and save 110,000 liters of water per kilo of yarn. By using recycled cotton, we guarantee no harmful substances such as insecticides or chemical fertilizers are used during the production process. In terms of land use, our yarns require 0.08 m² of land, compared to 4.8 m² for conventional yarn. This land can be used to grow food or other agricultural products.

Our textile line can be used for various applications:
What is RECOS® sarga?
The fabric we know as sarga or twill originated in India, where it is known as khadi, and it has been very popular worldwide for at least 100 years. It is made from cotton fibers and is characterized by its coarse texture, strength, and rustic appearance, with diagonal lines. The threads of this fabric moves more freely, giving a beautiful drape. In the case of RECOS® sarga, the yarn is made from post-industrial recycled cotton. The percentage of recycled fibers can be adjusted according to the requested quality.
What is RECOS® canvas?
Originally, the fabric we know as canvas was woven from hemp, so its name is derived from the Latin word cannabis. However, cotton began to be incorporated in India over 3,000 years ago. In this textile, the warp yarns are held firmly on the loom, while the weft yarns cross over and under them. In the case of RECOS® canvas, the yarn is made from post-industrial recycled cotton. The percentage of recycled fibers can be adjusted according to the requested quality.
